The Symposium on Robotic Thoracic Surgery is designed toprovide surgeons and their teams with a detailed overview of launching asuccessful robotic thoracic surgery program within a hospital setting. Led byexperts in the field, emphasis will be placed on the specific procedural andtechnical steps required when using a robot for general thoracic pulmonary,mediastinal, and esophageal operations. Attendees will experience livedemonstrations and hands-on opportunities with multiple simulators during thisdynamic new course offering from the Society.

Additional topics during the 1.5-day course will addressproper prerequisites, individual and team skills, supplies and equipment,training, administrative elements, and team requirements.
