The 18th Annual Perioperative and Critical Care Conference is a 2-day virtual event that will feature live and recorded sessions. The course will address various topics involving a team-based approach to cardiovascular and thoracic (CVT) perioperative and critical care procedures, including enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) and complex post-operative patient management. Health professionals who provide care for patients undergoing CVT operations and interventional procedures will share their knowledge. Leading international experts will present new and exciting concepts, technologies, management protocols, and clinical experiences in their respective disciplines. The virtual conference format will include short, dynamic, and interactive presentations paired with panel discussions, case-based scenarios, and original scientific abstracts. New this year will be a session featuring testimonials from COVID-19 survivors, who received extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) or a lung transplant, and their valuable perspectives on the long-term effects of their treatments.
